Yoga good. Not yoga bad.
Which is why it seems like a bad thing that I can’t remember the last time I did it (before this afternoon). Partially, that was because I was testing some Pilates DVDs that I got for Christmas, but mostly it was because I’ve been taking time off and the question of whether to do yoga during those times is always a perplexing one to me. During the time off, I rarely “feel like” doing it. But if I force it, I’m usually fine with it afterwards. And if I don’t do it I ALWAYS feel like I should have been at the end of my time off. But then, of course I do, cause by that point I’m well-rested and physically and mentally ready to train again.
My compromise to myself is to never beat myself up if I don’t do it during my time off. Sometimes a break is more important than anything else.
