I have made website!             

Phew. It’s done. Well, as “done” as a website and blog can be.

I spent the last 5 days working pretty much flat out on it, with just enough breaks for coaching, household and kid stuff to prevent blood clots. There was a lamentable amount of showering though. I haven’t skipped showers to work on stuff since grad school. I cannot recommend it – hopefully I will regain some balance (and cleanliness) now that I’m done (“done”).

It was really tough to go from knowing absolutely zero about any of this to creating a decent-looking (I hope) website. Thankfully, if there’s anything that knows about websites, it’s the internet. I think I googled something about every single element on the site and blog over the last few days.

I floundered for quite a while (like, January), until the very last day of my month “off” when I had a huge breakthrough in finding the video below. (I was going to insert it here, but for reasons I cannot fathom, it is creating a huge spacer above itself. If anyone knows what it’s deal is, let me know!)

He takes you absolutely step by step through the process of putting together a wordpress website. Tyler is the man.

I am soooo excited to be uploading a post to the website on the actual day it was written. Leveled. up.
