I’m very, very happy with my swim on Saturday. I wasn’t sure that I would get in a long, cold swim before it got toooo cold (and I wasn’t even sure that I wanted to), but 2.5 hours at 56 degrees went really well. And my shoulder feels fine. The cold water really seems to keep it from getting inflamed.
I organized a swim with two different groups so that I could stay in for a longer time, and I had to get out to go find Paul in the middle – but I was even colder in the air (low 50’s), and I was soaking wet, so I’m counting that toward the cold training!
I’m planning on taking a break from posting – now is a good time, with no swims planned.
