Another good swim yesterday, if shorter than I was looking for. You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need.

My goggles did not save my swim. It’s possible that trying to manipulate their buttons with frozen fingers was less than ideal. We swam for an hour, about 3300 yards, and my avg. HR was 116 – that’s what I remember from the quick summary as I tried to save the swim. We swam from Mike’s place toward the Sea Shell Resort (may be getting that name wrong. Good name though.) and then back. Water was placid (although a bit challenging getting in and out – I almost lost the fancy goggles to Poseidon).

The day was quite cloudy, and felt just about the same as last week even though it was 1 degree and 10 degrees warmer (water and air respectively). Another good acclamation opportunity!

Seriously, why do I always make that face? There wasn’t even sun out.

My concerted effort not to make that face. No steps forward, 8 steps back.
Hey, look at that, it DID save. Just on my Apple watch, not my goggles. I have such a love hate relationship with technology.
