Felt much better today then yesterday. I really felt terrible in the water. I’m beginning to question whether 8 days of taper is enough, but at this point I think I’ve got to stick the plan. Hammer nutrition is sponsoring the race and it will be their stuff on course. I’ve been trying it out and it is gross. I’m also having some intestinal unpleasantness – I don’t know if it’s related to their products or to the stomach bug that’s been going around. I’ll try it for Thursday’s workout as well, and if it doesn’t go well, I’ll switch to gu. I wish I could figure out a way to get salty water on course.
