This has been a comedy of errors without the comedy. Or perhaps it’s funny to others. I’ve never looked up the saying “like a toad under a harrow.” I read in a book: “I’m aware there’s humor to [a toad under a harrow], but the question is, does the toad see it.” I don’t REALLY know what that means… but I’m definitely feeling like the toad.
